Comes in Three's
I've had a transport themed
week. Wednesday I interviewed Anthony, the
21st Lord St John of Bletso at his home in
Wimbledon. As well as being a sitting member
of the House of Lords for the past 30 years
- he was the youngest Lord in the House at
the time - he was on the sub-committee that
investigated rip off mobile roaming charges
that eventually resulted in price reductions
being mandated by the EU.

Ready for the
off!
It makes compete sense
to use the Scooter for the trip to the
House of Lords. From Wimbledon to Westminster,
via all the back-doubles known to man,
it takes just 15 minutes before security
raise the barrier and wave us through
to the car park.

He is also the Chairman
of SpiriTel and has a working background steeped
in ICT.
Interview over he asked
me if I would like a guided tour of the House
of Lords. "Oh, Yes please," I said.
"OK then, we'll go
now; I'll just get your crash helmet."
Yep, Lord St John of Bletso rides everywhere
in London on his Honda. Brilliant! Off we
went and 15 minutes later the security barrier
rose and we were in the palace car park. Nice
tour by the way.
Next up was the Networks
First partner conference at Mercedes World,
Weybridge. Based on the old Brooklands racing
circuit this was an excellent event for partners
who had a mixture of PowerPoint and then Power
out on the Mercedes track.
Could it get any better
I thought on waking up Friday morning?
Correct, it could not get
better. Sitting on my drive I could see the
flat tyre on my car. Down to earth with a
bump as usual.
